As the cycling industry changes, we are narrowing our focus to meet the needs of our dealers. HLC is your premium distributor of road, mountain, and gravel parts and accessories.

Most of us learn how to ride a bike with wobbling starts and some scrapes and bruises while struggling to turn and pedal at the same time. At first, it’s about staying upright but for some of us it becomes so much more. Suddenly it’s freedom, speed, and community. It’s climbing ridiculous hills for fun and talking for hours about tires, torque, and the latest upgrades.

HLC is here for the riders who went from casual to committed. We’re here for the bike shops that share the obsession. As we all do when we get serious about riding, we’re going to fine-tune, strip out the noise, and focus on what works. As we all learned when riding a bike, sometimes you need to shift gears to keep moving forward.

We’ve all seen the cycling industry change and so have dealer needs. To meet these needs, we are shifting our focus. Rather than being everything to everyone, we’re focusing on delivering premium road, mountain, and gravel products. We’ll give more attention to each brand and more variety within each of those portfolios. Our dealers will receive great expertise, a more comprehensive inventory, and support that makes a difference. They’ll get knowledge from our team who know these products inside and out.

We’re not rebranding. We’re sharpening. This is about clarity, simplicity, and going deeper instead of wider so we can serve riders and shops better than ever before. Our dealers will experience fewer gaps in inventory. They’ll see better availability of premium products backed by people who know what they’re doing and care about their success.

Of course, change isn’t easy. As part of this shift, we’re saying goodbye to some incredible brand partners we've been proud to work with. We’re grateful for the relationships we've built and look forward to supporting their continued success in other channels. We’re also consolidating our operations to our Sparks, Nevada distribution center, which means closing our facility in Lexington, South Carolina. Our dealers will see consistent shipping times and for East Coast orders, 3 extra hours (until 7 PM EST) to place orders. These decisions weren’t made lightly but they’re necessary for us to grow stronger and serve our community better.

At the end of the day, we believe focus leads to excellence. Our focus is on high-performance parts for passionate riders, backed by a team that truly knows the difference and loves this stuff too. Riding should be fun and so should working with the people who understand what you need. We’re sharpening our focus to build a better HLC, for riders who care and for the shops that keep them rolling.
